Demo DVD

The KGA now has the first  DVD made of a KGA shop tour's demo's.   Out of the five scheduled to be given at the shop tour, only one was acceptable for making a DVD.  I video'd John Martin performing his demo at his home a week early because he was going to be out of state at the time of the shop tour.   Billy Helton had a good demo that was acceptable.  The rest of the demo's were redone and came out pretty good.  Calvin Harkins has volunteered his services at the next shop tour to do all the filming.  My filming needs a bit more work on it to get it up to running.

The DVD contains 5 demonstrations and is about an hour and ten minutes long.  They will be available for KGA members and Non members. The cost of the DVD for members is $12.00 and non members is $14.00.  This includes $2.00 for shipping materials and postage.

The contents of the DVD demo's are: John Martin - Inlaying pearl into Ebony,  Billy Helton - Forging the Ferry Flip (a crushed W's damascus pattern),  Ray Kirk - Forging a crawdad gig and a half penny guard,  Mike Miller - Using the pin press.
